Den 4. Juli 1884, im Wochenbett, Anna Strauß, geborne Graber, Gattin von Jak. Strauß, im Alter von 43 Jahren. Sie hinterläßt dem trauernden Gatten 6 Kinder, das Jüngste ein Knabe von 2 Wochen. Die Beerdigung fand den 6. Juli statt. Leichenrede gehalten von Rev. Jakob Stucky, im Hoffnungsfelder Bethaus.
