She was born in Winkler, | |||
, Man. to Jacob and Bertha | |||
:t Dyck, and at an early age | |||
felt called by God to be a missionary. In 1945, | |||
Annie was ordained ahd left for mission service | |||
in Colombia where she worked for many years, | |||
training church leaders and teaching people of | |||
all ages in a variety of settings. She took a BA in | |||
Spanish, then served further in Texas, Panama, | |||
and Colombia. In retirement, Annie found a | |||
partner in Sam Buhler, and gained children | |||
and grandchildren. She was a loving friend and | |||
family member, a committed Christian leader, | |||
and a faithful follower of Jesus. Predeceased by | |||
Sam in 2001; she is mourned by children Sandra | |||
(Vern) Loewen, Larry (Marilyn), Sharlene (Brian) | |||
Craig; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; | |||
2 siblings. The celebration of life service was | |||
Mar. 19 at Forest Grove Community Church, | |||
Saskatoon. | |||

Annie E. Dyck Buhler died

She was born in Winkler,
