Meadows, Ill. &#8212; Funeral services for Rev. Frank R. Mitchell, 76, retired minister of the General Conference Mennonite Church, were held Sept. 18 at the Meadows Mennonite Church.  Rev. Lotus E. Troyer officiated, assisted by Rev. Bruno Penner.
Rev. Mitchell died at his home here on Sept. 16 after a long illness.
A graduate of Bluffton College and Witmarsum Theological seminary, both at Bluffton, Ohio, he was an ordained minister for 40 years.  He held pastorates at Comins, Mich., the Peoria (Ill.) Gospel Mission, the Bethel Church at Pekin, Ill., and the Pulaski (Iowa) Mennonite Church.  He also served for some years as superintendent and later pastor of the Meadows Mennonite Home.

Retired Minister Called Away in Death At Meadows, Ill.

Meadows, Ill. — Funeral services for Rev. Frank R. Mitchell, 76, retired minister of the General Conference Mennonite Church, were held Sept. 18 at the Meadows Mennonite Church. Rev. Lotus E. Troyer officiated, assisted by Rev. Bruno Penner.

Rev. Mitchell died at his home here on Sept. 16 after a long illness.
