Nida Antonowich

Nida Antonowich, 70, of Newton, owner of The Tailor Shop, died Friday (March 25, 1988) at NMC-Bethel.

Services will be at 10 a. m. Monday at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Combs officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Antonowich was born Aug. 20, 1917, in the Ukraine. She married Dimitro Antonowich, who died in 1958.

She came to Newton in 1951 from New York City. She was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church.

Survivors include two sons, John of Hillsboro and Jim of Newton; two daughters, Ann Wingo and Helen Smith of Newton; a brother, Steven Fillimanchuck of the Soviet Union; and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call until 9 p. m. today and from 1 to 9 p. m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Harvey County Hospice.
