Mr. Miller is a graduate of McPherson College and did graduate work at KSAC, Manhattan. He was a teacher for 20 years, 11 of which were spent on the faculty at Hesston College. During the depression years he and Mrs. Miller retired to their farm south of Protection. Later they moved to their present home in Protection. | |||

Former Teacher Marks 96th Birthday
Protection, Kan. — S. Enos Miller celebrated his 96th birthday on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Mr. Miller is enjoying good health except for poor sight and hearing. in addition to helping his wife with small household duties, he spends hours each day listening to Bible records and other recordings for the blind.

Long-Time Protection, Kan. Resident Dies
Word was received by the Review this week that S. Enos Miller, a resident of the Protection, Kan. community most of his life, died Monday night at the Comanche County Hospital where he had been a patient for about eight weeks. He was 97.
Mr. Miller was formerly a teacher, and served on the Hesston College faculty from 1920 to 1931. His wife, Ursula, is a former writer and correspondent for the Review.
Funeral services for Mr. Miller will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Protection Mennonite Church.
