+ | • Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the Tabor Mennonite Church for Herbert Klassen, 54, who died unexpectedly May 23 a few hours after being admitted to Bethel Deaconess Hospital. The services were in charge of the pastor, Rev. James Waltner. Although under treatment for a heart condition, Mr. Klassen had resumed almost normal activity at his farm on Route 4, Newton. Survivors include his wife, the former Esther Schmidt; two sons, Harlin and Richard, and a daughter, Delores, all of the home; his stepmother, Mrs. Anna Klassen of Newton; one brother, Albert, of Newton; four sisters and three step-sisters. |
