— John H. Pankratz, 51, of Route 2, Canton, passed away suddenly at his home Sunday forenoon. He was born Sept. 7, 1909 in Marion County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Pankratz. He spent his entire life on the farm where he passed away. On August 17, 1938 he was married to Vivian Glenn, who survives. Survivors in addition to his wife, of the home, include two sons, Glen and Verne, three daughters, Beth, Carol, and Julia, all of the home, and his mother, Mrs. Anna Pankratz, of the home. funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Goessel Mennonite church, with Rev. Levi Kohen [''sic'' Koehn] officiating.
