DEACON OF AMISH CONGREGATION NEAR HUTCHINSON DIES

Hutchinson, Kan. — Funeral services for Peter Wagler, widely known deacon of the Amish settlement southwest of here, were held Aug. 23 at the Albert Yoder residence. His death on Aug. 20 at the age of 71 was due to a heart ailment.

The funeral was widely attended by relatives and friends who came from Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Oklahoma and Arizona as well as Kansas.
