EDGAR ALLAN BATH

Saskatoon. Edgar AHan Bath passed away at his home on November 1. He was born on February 9, 1882, ·in Hanley, Staffordshire, Eng·land and as a young man worked in London, England. as a painter and sign writer until 1910 when he emigrated to Canada . He took up residence in the Sanctuary. Sask.• area where he farmed for thirty years. He was married in 1915 and established his own home. After ,the death of his first wife in 1944. he married Katie Maryann Siemens, a union to which were born two children, a son, Edgar, and a daughter, who died in infancy. The Bath family retired from the farm in 1954 and moved to Saskatoon. In 1969 he recognized his need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a·ccepted him as his Saviour. As much as his health permitted, he attended church services after that. The Word o'f God became a real source of joy and strength to him . The funeral was held in the Central MB Church. Saskatoon, with Rev. Henry Harder and Rev. Norman Barte'l ministering. Survivingare his wife Katie, of Saskatoon, and son, Edgar, of Wadena, Sask.
