EDGAR ALLAN BATH

A resident of 710 - 33rd St. West, Saskatoon. Edgar Allan Bath passed away at his home on November 1. He was born on February 9, 1882 in Hanley, Staffordshire, England and as a young man worked in London, England as a painter and sign writer until 1910 when he emigrated to Canada . He took up residence in the Sanctuary. Sask. area where he farmed for thirty years. He was married in 1915 and established his own home. After the death of his first wife in 1944. he married Katie Maryann Siemens, a union to which were born two children, a son, Edgar, and a daughter, who died in infancy. The Bath family retired from the farm in 1954 and moved to Saskatoon. In 1969 he recognized his need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and accepted him as his Saviour. As much as his health permitted, he attended church services after that. The Word of God became a real source of joy and strength to him. The funeral was held in the Central MB Church. Saskatoon, with Rev. Henry Harder and Rev. Norman Bartel ministering. Surviving are his wife Katie, of Saskatoon, and son, Edgar, of Wadena, Sask.
