WIFE OF REV. PETER FLAMING PASSED AWAY RECENTLY AT HOSPITAL IN GOESSEL
Death came to Mrs. Peter Flaming of Buhler last week at the Betheda [sic Bethesda] hospital in Goessel after a lingering illness of about ten months.
Mrs. Flaming was one of the pioneers of the Inman-Buhler community, haivng come to Kansas in 1874.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Peter Flaming, Buhler; three daughters, Marie, Chicago; Martha, Buhler; Mrs. C. L. Johnson, Custer City, Okla.; and three sons, J. A., St. Louis; J. P., Inman, and H. H., Buhler.
Funeral services were held at the Hoffnungsau church near Buhler at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon, with interment in the church cemetery.
