&#8212; The Professor Walter H. Hohmann family was called to Deer Creek, Okla. last week because of the sudden death of Professor Hohmann's father, J. H. Hohmann, who died of heart attack. The aged father was fatally stricken Thursday morning as he had gone out to feed the chickens and was found dead in the yard. He had suffered from an heart ailment for some time but was able to be up and around again last week. He was 77 years of age. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Deer Creek Mennonite church, conducted by Rev. H. E. Miller. Having moved to Oklahoma 45 years ago, Mr. Hohmann was a widely known farmer of the Deer Creek community and a charter member of the Mennonite church there. Besides the deeply bereaved wife, the following children survive: Prof. Hohmann of North newton; Carl and Lloyd of Deer Creek; Mrs. O J. Moyer, Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Bruce Ball of Cheney, Kansas.
