Dewey Schmidt, son of Jacob and Annie Schmidt, was born July 21, 1919, near Goltry, Okla. He moved with his parents to Caddo county, Okla., in 1922. Here he grew to manhood southeast of Carnegie. He received his education a the Broxton school.
About three years ago his health began to fail, and he was taken to the Carnegie hospital on November 15.
