An automobile tragedy six miles east of Newton last Thursday evening claimed the life of Mrs. Inex Huxman, wife of Henry Huxman living east of Newton. Mrs. Huxman was killed and her daughter Della seriously injured in an accident involving two empty gasoline transports and their car about six mile3s east of Newton shortly after 10 o'clock Thursday night. The drivers of the trucks were uninjured.

Riding ahead of the family car in a pickup truck, which had been used by the family in helping a neighbor family move, were her husband, Henry Huxman, cousin of Federal Judge Walter Huxman, and a son, Marvin.

The Huxmans were returning home after helping Dan Janzens move from Canton.

According to reports of the accident, both the transport trucks were headed east toward Newton. The car was completely demolished and was facing east when it stopped moving, although it was traveling west at the time of the accident.

Mr. and mrs. Huxman had been married 11 years and came to the Newton area from Moundridge two years ago. Surviving Mrs. Huxman in addition to her husband and the children, are her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Decker, of Moudnridge.

Automobile Accident Near Newton Takes Life of Mrs Inez Huxman

DAUGHTER SUFFERS INJURY IN ACCIDENT INVOLVING TWO TRANSPORT TRUCKS

An automobile tragedy six miles east of Newton last Thursday evening claimed the life of Mrs. Inex Huxman, wife of Henry Huxman living east of Newton.
