Entz of Newton attended the funeral services for Mrs. Peter Penner at Halstead last Friday afternoon, at which occasion he also served with a sermon, together with the Halstead pastor, Rev. H. T. Unruh. Mrs. Penner, who passed away early last week, was one of the oldest settlers at Halstead. She is survived by her aged husband, Peter Penner, and son, Herman Penner of Oklahoma, and a daughter, Mrs. Albert Haury of Hutchinson.
