Abraham L. Gerber, son of Ulrich and Anna Lehman Gerber was born June 12, 1849, four miles south of Dalton, Ohio, close to Boone's school, and died May 6, 1933. Mr. Gerber lived on the same farm all his life, for 83 years, 10 months, 24 days.

October 9, 1879, he was united in marriage to Barbara (Abr. P.) Moser. To this union were born nine children, seven grew to maturity. Verena, died at the age of 16; Simon of Apple Creek, Alice, at home with mother, Martha, (Mrs. Joel Zuercher), Dalton; Martin, died at the age of 5 days, Menno, of Orrville, Adam , of Dalton, Andrew, of Wooster, and Ida (Mrs. Adam Hofstetter), on the home farm. There are 30 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Betty Jane Zuercher.

A. L. Gerber

Abraham L. Gerber, son of Ulrich and Anna Lehman Gerber was born June 12, 1849, four miles south of Dalton, Ohio, close to Boone's school, and died May 6, 1933. Mr. Gerber lived on the same farm all his life, for 83 years, 10 months, 24 days.

October 9, 1879, he was united in marriage to Barbara (Abr. P.) Moser. To this union were born nine children, seven grew to maturity.
