Death was due to an accident in a factory making meat cutter blocks. Mr. Basinger was crushed by a heay [''sic''] beam of timber against a concrete wall and passed away within about two hours after the accident.

Joel Basinger

Pandora, Ohio, Aug. 22. — Mr. Edward Basinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Basinger, was born at the home farm near Pandora, Ohio, March 26, 1875, and died at Petoskey, Mich. last Tuesday, Aug. 13, 1929, aged 54 years, 4 months and 17 days.
