&#8212; J. J. Epp, well known resident of Newton, died at the Bethel hospital at noon yesterday. Mr. Epp had been taken to the hospital Saturday. He had not been well for some time, though it was only recently that his condition became serious. Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved.

&#8212; The funeral services for J. J. Epp, who passed away at the Bethel hospital on Tuesday of last week, were held at the First Mennonite church last Friday afternoon. As the weather was especially favorable at that time, it was possible for many relatives and friends of the deceased to attend and the church was filled to capacity. Interment was made at the Greenwood cemetery.
