| + | — At Goessel last Sunday afternoon, funeral services were held for Frank Quiring, pioneer resident of the community, at the Goessel Mennonite church. Rev. P. P. Buller officiated. At about the time this funeral was in progress another pioneer of the community, H. H. Dirksen, died suddenly and unexpectedly at his home in Goessel. Mr. Dirksen had come in from outdoors, and had sat down on a chair, when he suddenly collapsed and passed away. Funeral services for Mr. Dirksen are to be held Thursday afternoon. |

LOCAL NEWS
— At Goessel last Sunday afternoon, funeral services were held for Frank Quiring, pioneer resident of the community, at the Goessel Mennonite church. Rev. P. P. Buller officiated.
