Dies Unexpectedly While On Business Trip
Berne, Ind. — Funeral services for Alfred Lehman, 63, maintenance supervisor for Meshberger Brothers Stone Company here and a lifelong resident of this community, were held Sunday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church.
Mr. Lehman died unexpectedly in a heart attack March 13 at Grinnell, Iowa, where he had gone to replace a motor in one of the stone firm's trucks. He and Mrs. Lehman, who accompanied him on the trip, were preparing to enter a restaurant for the noon meal when he slumped over and died.
