MRS. ELLIS R. ZOOK

Mrs. Mary Graber Zook, 46, wife of Ellis R. Zook, died at her farm home southwest of Goshen, after an illness that had confined her to her bed for the past two weeks. Mrs. Zook had been taken to the General hospital in Elkhart on July 1, for surgery, and had returned home July 27, but two weeks ago again became seriously ill. Death was caused by a complication of ailments.

Mrs. Zook was born near Wayland, Iowa, on Sept. 3, 1905, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Graber, and was married in 1927 to Mr. Zook. They came to this community from Iowa in 1936. Mrs. Zook was a member of the College Mennonite church.

Surviving are the husband, three children, Erma Louise, John Mervin, and Eunice Arlene, all at home; five sisters, Miss Anna Graber, of Sterling, Ill.; Mrs. Willard H. (Bena) Smith, of Goshen; Mrs. Chris M. (Elizabeth) Stoltzfuss, of Manson, Iowa; Miss Lena Graber, a missionary in Dhamptari, India; and Miss Esther Graber, of Elkhart; and two brothers, C. L. Graber of Goshen; and J. D. Graber, of Elkhart.

Funeral services were held in the College Union with the Rev. S. C. Yoder and the Rev. John Mosemann officiating.
