AARON ZOOK

Aaron Zook of Colorado Springs, Colo. died Oct 18, 1969 at St. Francis Hospital, Colorado Springs, following a long illness.

He was born July 26, 1887 to John and Salina (King) Zook at Garden City, Mo. Aaron Zook and Sadie Yoder were joined in marriage on Aug. 1, 1909 in McPherson County, Kansas. To this union were born six children. The family moved to the Colorado Springs area in 1935 where Bro. Zook was a self-employed carpenter.

As a young man he accepted Christ as his Savior and joined the Mennonite fellowship. A member of the First Mennonite Church of Colorado Springs, he taught Sunday school and actively supported the church until his health would no longer permit.

He is survived by his widow; a brother, Paul Zook, Pamona, Calif.; three sons, Eldon of Nampa, Idaho, Paul and Lee, both of Colorado Springs; three daughters, Ida Bell Boshart of Manitou Springs, Colo., Elsie Yoder of Hutchinson, kan. and Ruby Reed, Colorado springs; 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Oct. 21, 1969 in the Law mortuary. Rev. E. E. Showalter officiated. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Colorado Springs.
