BURNS FATAL TO MRS. CHRIS ZIMMERMAN OF GARDEN CITY MISSOURI

Garden City, Mo. — Mrs. Chris Zimmerman, a well known resident of this community, was fatally burned Friday, march 26, when her clothes caught fire while she was warming wax on the stove.

In some unknown manner the wax became ignited, and although her husband immediately rushed to the scene Mrs. Zimmerman was seriously burned before he could extinguish the flames. The accident happened at 10 o'clock in the morning and she passed away at 10 o'clock in the evening at a Kansas city Hospital

Funeral services here were conducted by Ministers George Hansford and I. G. Hartzler. A quartet composed of Emery Yoder, Albert Schrock, Clarence Hartzler and Ira Zook sang several of Mrs. Zimmerman's favorite songs.
