BRETHREN DIRECTOR IN EUROPE HURT IN AUTO CRASH, WIFE KILLED

Mrs. M. R. Zigler, wife of the European director of the Brethren Service Commission, was fatally injured in an auto crash near Stockholm, Sweden on Aug. 18, according to word received through MCC headquarters, Akron, Pa. A woman in the other car was also killed, and Mr. Zigler and the driver of the second car were seriously injured.

This marked the second tragedy to strike the Church of the Brethren within a few days' time. On Aug. 14 twenty members of the church perished when a huge Dutch airliner went down in the Atlantic.
