SUSIE ZACHARIAS

Our beloved sister, Susie Zacharias, daughter of Aaron and Maria (Koehn) Zacharias, was born June 14, 1881, in Marion County, Kansas.

On July 30, 1905, she joined the Lehigh, Kansas Mennonite church by baptism with Rev. William Ewert officiating. She came to Gotebo, Okla. with her parents and brothers April 1, 1918, and joined the Ebenezer church by church letter.

On April 11, 1931, she was taken to the Western Hospital at supply, Okla. On Aug. 1, 1954, she was transferred to the Wilders Nursing Home at Moorland, Okla.

On March 18, 1957, she became seriously sick and was taken to the State Hospital at Clinton, Okla. After she recovered and was released, she was taken to the Young's Nursing Home at Weatherford, Okla. April 5, 1957. On Jan. 11, 1958, she suffered another sick spell and was taken to the Clinton Hospital where she was operated on Jan.. 15, 1958. She passed away in full confidence of going to b3 with her Lord on Jan. 19, 1958, at 11 a. m. at the age of 76 years, six months and 26 days.

She leaves to mourn her depar- [sic] three brothers, Aaron Zacharias of Corn, Jake Zacharias of Gotebo, and Henry Zacharias of Hillsboro, Kan.; two sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. We mourn, but not without hope.

Rev. John Ratzlaff officiated at the funeral, held at the Ebenezer Mennonite church, Gotebo, Okla. — The Family.
