LITTLE GIRL KILLED WHEN RUN OVER BY TRUCK IN FARMYARD
Hesston, Kans. — Funeral services were held at the Meridian church near here Sunday afternoon for Mary Ellen Yost, two and one-half year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Yost who was fatally injured in an accident at the Yost farm on Thursday. The services were in charge of Rev. F. H. Wenger and Rev. Harry Wenger.
The accident occurred in the Yost farmyard when Mr. Yost started up his truck to go to Newton for machinery repairs, unaware that the little girl was at the front of the truck. One wheel passed over her body, and she was dead when picked up by the father.
She is survived by her parents and four-year-old brother, Dale Keith, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Yost of Hesston and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Becker of Moundridge.
