Mary (Miller) Yoder, daughter of Jerry D. and Fannie Miller, was born in Holmes county, Ohio on July 25, 1880, and died at her home near Hutchinson, Kansas March 4, 1948, age 67 years nine months and nine days.

She was married to Menno C. Yoder on Dec. 13, 1900, and they lived in matrimony for 47 years two months and 19 days. To this union were born 13 children.

Survivors include her husband and 11 children: Dan, Albert, Menno, Harry, Jerry, Melvin, Katie (wife of Joe A. Miller), Abe and Mary, all of Hutchinson, and Calvin and Roman of Oregon. She also leaves two sisters and four brothers: Mrs. Joe E. Stutzman of Arthur, Ill., Sarah, wife of Abe F. Nisly, Abbyville, Kansas, Jacob H., David, and Andrew Miller of Hutchinson, and Mike Miller of Hartville, Ohio.

She had high blood pressure and heart trouble for seven years, and was bedfast for the last year with dropsy. She had a stroke in June, 1947, and again on March 3, and passed away the next morning at 4:30. The funeral was held March 6.

She accepted Christ as her personal Saviour and joined the Old Order Amish church in her youth, and remained faithful to the end. She was always ready to lend a kind and helping hand to the sick and those in need.—The Family.
