ELEVEN MONTH OLD CHILD DIED AFTER EATING MEDICINE
Thomas, Okla. — A large funeral look place at the Amos Schrock home in the Amish community here July 4, when little Mary Lorene Yoder, 11-month-old daughter of Henry Yoders was laid to rest.
On Wednesday, July 2, the little girl was left alone for a short time and managed to get into a medicine cabinet and open a bottle of laxative pills. She had eaten about a dozen of the pills before the mother found her. Death came about two hours later at a local hospital.
