Young Farmer Killed In Logging Accident

LLOYD R. YODER HAD RECENTLY MOVED TO OREGON FROM INDIANA

Goshen, Ind. — Funeral services for Lloyd R. Yoder, former resident of the Middlebury community who was killed in a logging accident in Oregon, were held June 27 at the Middlebury Mennonite Church, Wilbur Yoder and Harold Yoder officiating.

The 34-year-old farmer and poultryman had sold his farm north of Middlebury in March and moved to Sweet Home, ore., the former home of his wife, who was Lois Emmert. he was instantly killed June 21 when struck by a log according to word received by relatives here.

Services were held at Sweet home before the body was returned here.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three small children; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tobias Yoder of Middlebury; and three brothers, including a twin, Charles, all of Middlebury.
