— According to the Kalona, Ia., News, "John Y. Yoder, 75, of near West Union church passed away, at his home Monday evening. His death followed a fall down basement steps, which occurred in the morning at the home of his son Lloyd. He suffered head injuries, which caused him to lapse into unconsciousness, and he continued to gradually grow weaker. He is survived by his widow and four children, Mrs. Irving Bender Jason and Floyd of the West Union community and Emery of Wellman."
