MORE THAN THOUSAND PEOPLE ATTEND FUNERAL OF JOHN YODER IN OHIO

Dundee, Ohio — An unusually large funeral, which more than a thousand people attended, was held here in November when John Yoder was laid to his final resting place. Mr. Yoder died as the result of injuries received when he was struck by a train. Forty-six years old, he was the son of P. V. Yoder of Stark county.

The funeral services were conducted by Ministers Harry Stutzman, Simon Coblentz and Roman Miller.

The deceased is survived by his deeply sorrowing wife and six children.

OHIO FARMER FATALLY INJURED IN RAILROAD CROSSING ACCIDENT

Hartville, Ohio. — This community was shocked to hear of the unexpected death of John Yoder, local farmer, as the result of injuries received when his livestock truck was struck by a train near Ravenna. Mr. Yoder suffered a skull fracture, a broken leg and other injuries and passed away at the Robinson memorial Hospital some hours after the accident.

A cow which Mr. Yoder was delivering on the truck escaped unhurt but the truck was completely demolished.

Funeral services held at the Walnut Grove church were attended by a large gathering of sorrowing relatives and friends. Mr. Yoder was 46 years of age.
