Herman H. Yoder

Herman H. Yoder, son of Herman and Elizabeth Eash Yoder, was born in LaGrange County, Indiana, march 19th, 1864, and passed away at the McPherson Hospital Sept. 30th, 1928, aged 64 years, 6 months and 12 days. He was united in marriage on Oct. 23rd, 1887, to Mary Beam. To this union were born eight children, two preceding him in death.

He leaves to mourn his departure his wife and six children, Anna and Amanda at home, Nora of LaJunta, Colorado, Tillie and William H. of Windom, Kansas, Fannie Gaines of Mount Crawford, Virginia, eleven grandchildren, also three sisters and three brothers.

He accepted Christ as his Savior in the year 1887 and united with the Mennonite Church of which he was a member at the time of his death. The funeral services were held at the West Liberty Mennonite Church on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 3rd, at 3:00 P. M. Short services were conducted at the house by Rev. M. M Troyer. Rev. Joe Hartzler conducted the services at the church. The remains were laid to rest in the West Liberty cemetery. — Inman Review.
