INJURIES SUFFERED IN 3O-FOOT PLUNGE FATAL TO TRUCK DRIVER

Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Funeral services were held Feb. 16 at the Manville Conservative Mennonite Church for David D. Yoder, 31, who died of injuries suffered two weeks earlier in a truck accident.

He was driving a double tractor-trailer rig on Interstate 71 near Mansfield when the truck skidded on ice and plunged down 30 feet to Route 13, which crosses underneath. He sustained severe head injuries, and never regained consciousness.

Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan J. C. Yoder of rural Fredericksburg, five brothers and one sister.
