Daniel J. Yoder Killed Instantly Near Allensville, Pa.

Belleville, Pa., Sept. 26. — Daniel J. Yoder an enterprising farmer residing near Allensville was intantly killed Wednesday, September 25th about noon while working on his farm on the outskirts of Allensville.

Mr. Yoder was engaged in hauling clover seed and was being assisted by his son-in-law, Manuel Peachey, when the accident occurred. In some manner he fell from the load of clover and was found lying back of the wagon by his son-in-law, who immediately summoned Dr. Miller, of Belleville.

Death was amost [sic] instant as Mr. Yoder never uttered a word after the accident occurred and was pronounced dead by the physician when he arrived. Death was caused either by a fractured skull or a broken neck received in the fall. — Belleville Times.
