text of obituary:

DR. WESLEY B. WOHLGEMUTH

Wesley Wohlgemuth was born to Mr. and Mr. Ben Wohlgemuth in Fairview, Okla. on Nov. 27, 1924. Here he received his grammar and high school education.

He was baptized and received into the South Hoffnungsau Mennonite Brethren Church at Fairview by Rev. John J. Karber on July 6, 1941.

After high school he did three years of service, in Colorado and Nebraska, and also in Greece. In the fall of 1946 he came to work in California at which time he joined the Dinuba M. B. Church.

On Oct. 29, 1947, he and Agnes Friesen were married by Rev. B. J. Braun in the Dinuba M. B. Church. Our marriage was blessed with three children: Wesley Don, a senior at Immanuel Academy; Dianne Lynne, a freshman; and Linda Kay, in the seventh grade.

After our marriage Wesley spent nine years working on a farm as well as attending Reedley College for two years. In 1958 we moved to Los Angeles where he studied in the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He graduated in June 1962, and took up his practice in Dinuba in August of that year.

While in Los Angeles we joined the Emmanuel Mennonite Church of Downey. Wesley took an active part in this church. He sang in the church choir for several years and also in a quartet. He was active in Sunday school work in various capacities. His love for people and the desire to serve mankind motivated him in his calling to the field of dentistry.

In April of 1965 he noticed his health had begun to fail. His courage and determination never left him until the very end. He slipped quietly into eternity on Jan. 31.

He leaves to mourn his early departure his wife, one son and two daughters; his parents; three brothers, Dr. Paul Wohlgemuth of Hillsboro, Kan., Carl Wohlgemuth of Hesston, Kan., and Arthur Wohlgemuth of Elko, Nev.; and a host of relatives and friends. — The Family.
