— Funeral services for P. E. Wittmer, 91 year old settler of Wayland, Ia., community, was held at the Eicher Emmanuel church there last week, conducted by Rev. Delbert Welty, Mr. Wittmer died Saturday, Oct. 12. l He was born in Alsace, France, and in his youth joined the Mennonite church there at Altkirch.
