Retired Hardware Store Owner Called by Death
Freeman, S. D. — Robert J. Wipf retired hardware merchant here, died May 22 at the age of 64. He had been in ill health for some time.
A native of this community, he attended the local schools and Freeman College. For 15 years he was associated with his father and uncle in the hardware business, and for 26 years was general manager and owner of the Wipf Bros. Hardware.
Mr. Wipf was a long-time member of the Bethany Mennonite Church.
