BERNARD A. WILLEMS, 69

Bernard A. Willems, 69, of Waldheim, Sask., died unexpectedly on June 19 at his home. He was born in Minnesota and baptized into the church at Brotherfield in 1918. He is mourned by his wife Marie, 3 daughters, 4 sons, 2 sisters, 7 brothers, and 14 grandchildren.

obituary: 1963 Aug 23 p. 18 Bernard A. Willems, of Waldheim, Sask. was buried on June 23 in the Brotherfield cemetary. He had been troubled for some twelve years by periodic heart attacks which finally incapacitated him so severely that many months were spent in hospital, but he was never known to complain. After recovering remarkably from an amputation of a leg, so that he was able to make extended visits to old friends, he died suddenly of a severe heart attack. He is survived by his wife, 3 daughters, 4 sons, 12 grandchildren and many relatives.
