FILLING STATION EMPLOYEE SUFFERS FATAL BURNS AT ORLAND, CALIF.
Orland, Calif. — Alvin Willems, son of Rev. and Mrs. K. K. Willems, died here on July 16 a few hours after he was burned in an explosion at a filling station where he was employed. It is reported that a container which he was carrying somehow exploded, burning him beyond recognition.
Funeral services were held at the K.M.B. church here on Friday forenoon, July 19. He is survived by his wife, his parents, and two brothers and two sisters.
The family formerly resided at Inman, Kansas, where Rev. Willems served as pastor of the Zoar church.
