Pastor's Wife Called By Death at Mt. Lake

Mt. Lake, Minn. — Mrs. Tina C. Wiens, 75, wife of Rev. H. E. Wiens, died at the Bethel Hospital here Oct. 29, having been admitted to the hospital two days earlier after suffering a heart attack.

Funeral services were held Nov. 2 at the Mt. Lake Mennonite Brethren Church, where her husband served as pastor for many years and where she also was active in church work. A member of the local church since 1918, she formerly directed the ladies' choir, taught in Sunday school and Wednesday evening class, and held various positions in the mission society.

Mrs. Wiens was the former Tina Hiebert of Goessel, Kan. She was a graduate of Tabor College and taught school at Goessel for several years before her marriage.

Surviving in addition to her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Lester Meyers of Billings, Mon., three grandchildren, and brothers and sisters.
