— Mrs. Anna Wiens, 83, widow of John P. Wiens and a resident of Newton for 66 years, died Dec. 3 at the Bethel Deaconess hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the First Mennonite church, Rev. Arnold Epp in charge. Mrs. Wiens, the former Anna Abrams, was born in South Russia. She leaves two sons, John of Richmond, Calif. and Samuel R. of Liberal; two daughters, Mrs. Ted Reimer and Mrs. Andy Kosminski of Newton; two brothers, John W. and Arthur Abrams of Newton; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
