— Funeral services were held at the Emmaus Church near Whitewater on Dec. 27 for Miss Elsie Wiebe, 80, who died early Christmas morning at the Bethel Home in Newton. Miss Wiebe was a native of the Whitewater community and had lived at the home since Oct. 4, 1938. She is survived by three brothers, Herman Wiebe, John Wiebe and Rev. Alfred Wiebe, a brother-in-law, Rev. B. W. Harder, nieces and nephews.
