MRS. PAUL WIDMER

Tessie Rosina Raber was born Sept. 12, 1914, at Goshen, Ind., the daughter of Daniel J. and Minnie (Gerber) Raber.

On Dec. 19, 1935, she was married to Paul J. Widmer. They lived in Wayland, Iowa, until her health necessitated constant nursing care, at which time they moved to Washington, Iowa, where she passed away on Oct. 22, 1960 at the age of 46 years, one month and 10 days.

Surviving are her husband, Paul, of Washington; a daughter, (Carole) Mrs. Carl Reschly of Wayland; two sons, Kenneth Paul, of Hobbs, N. M. and Christopher Jon, a student at Parsons College, Fairfield; three grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raber of Goshen, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Wyse of Wayland, and Mrs. Rueben [sic Reuben] Widmer of Winfield; two brothers, John Raber of Indianapolis, Ind., and Ed Raber of Goshen, Ind.

She was always an active member in the Mennonite Church, a talented singer and a devoted Christian worker.

Funeral services for Mrs. Widmer were held Oct. 24, at the Wayland Mennonite church. Ministers in charge of the services were Rev. Omer Nisley, pastor of the church, and Rev. L. A. Habegger, Elkhart, Ind. Interment was made at North Hill cemetery.
