— Joseph Widmer, a well-known citizen of the community at Wayland, Ia., died last week. Born in France in 1887, he came to the United States 35 years ago and settled in the Mennonite community in Iowa. Funeral services were held at the Eicher church, conducted by Rev. D. E. Welty.
