Indian Pastor Died At Lame Deer, Mont.
REV. MILTON WHITEMAN WAS PASTOR OF PETTER MEMORIAL CHURCH
Word was received here last week by Rev. John Thiessen, executive secretary of the General Conference Board of Missions, that Rev. Milton Whiteman, the well known Indian pastor of the Petter Memorial church at Lame Deer, Mont. died there on Friday, Jan. 17.
Rev. Whiteman's death occurred exactly two years to the day after the passing of Missionary Alfred Habegger, with whom he had been a close co-worker for many years.
Funeral services were held at the church Monday, Jan. 20, conducted by Rev. Malcolm Wenger.
