— Bishop Ray Wenger, missionary at Mugango, Tanganyika Territory, East Africa, died there Saturday, June 9, as result of heart attack after an illness of four days. Because of the climate, the funeral was held as soon as possible on the following day. Missionaries from the surrounding district attended the sad but challenging service. A memorial service for Bishop Wenger was arranged also at Mellinger's church at Lancaster, Pa., to be held Sunday afternoon, June 24.

— Services in remembrance of Bishop W. Ray Wenger of Tanganyika, Africa, whose outstanding missionary career came to a close through death on June 9, after he had been ill for four days from malarial fever, were held in a number of Pennsylvania churches in recent weeks. Bishop Wenger is survived by his wife and three children. He was only 34 years of age.
