OLDEST DEACON OF (OLD) MENN. CHURCH DIED IN VIRGINIA
Deep Creek, Va. — Funeral services were held at the Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church near Fentress on Feb. 14 for Timothy J. Wenger, 93, deacon of that congregation since 1900. Born in 1864, he was believed to be the oldest deacon in the (Old) Mennonite Church.
