WELL KNOWN RETIRED IOWA FARMER CALLED AWAY IN DEATH
Wayland, Iowa. — Funeral services for Jacob Wenger, well known retired farmer of this community, were held Dec. 8 at the Eicher Mennonite church.
Mr. Wenger, who reached the advanced age of 84 years, came to America from France in the early 1880's, settling in Nebraska and later in Washington County, Iowa. He was a long-time member of the Eicher church.
He died in the Washington County Hospital after a brief illness on Dec. 6.
