RESIDENT OF BLUFFTON HOME AND FORMER MISSIONARY DIES

Pandora, Ohio. — Mrs. Martha Welty, who served as a missionary to the American Indians in Oklahoma from 1899 to 1903, died April 18 at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Grace church, Pandora.

Mrs. Welty, the former Martha Sprunger, was born at Berne, Ind. on Aug. 25, 1867. Her husband, Peter Welty, died in 1951.
