Herbert W. Welty, 51, of Hesston, died of a heart attack on Monday, Nov. 14, while at work with a construction company in Natoma. He was born near Moundridge in 1908 to William and Mary Krehbiel Welty, and married in 1952 to Mrs. Dixie Herzet. He is survived by his widow, six step-children, seven brothers and two sisters.
